#MeToo case: Actor Vijay Babu has been told to surrender immediately to the investigation team or else he will be arrested for questioning the alleged rape of a debutante actress.
However, Actor Vijay Babu who is currently residing in Dubai has asked Kerala police time till May 19 to appear for questioning and the same has been denied by Kerala police.
A young debutant actress accused Vijay Babu of sexual assault in a MeToo relation through Facebook.
Later on, Vijay Babu had a Facebook live to talk about the allegations that have been leveled against him, he claimed that he is innocent and is a real victim and also revealed the complaint’s name, which is an offense for which another case has been booked against him.
The actor is untraceable since the probe has been started by the Kerala police. He has proceeded anticipatory bail in Kerala High Court in the rape case.
A hard copy of the notice was handed over by police to the actor’s wife. The notice was also sent to his email address as the actor is not in the city.
The actress appeared in the films produced by Vijay Babu.
